| Varicose Vein Treatment
Veins return blood to the heart and lungs so it can be re-oxygenated. A system of valves in the veins allows the blood to flow back up the leg towards the heart. When valves fail or leak, gravity causes blood to flow backwards and pool inside the vein and this results in a varicose vein. Varicose veins can be unsightly but they can also cause significant discomfort.
Dr. Andrew Lundberg is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon who uses ultrasound guided laser therapy to treat varicose veins. This treatment can be performed on an outpatient basis in the privacy of our surgery center using local anesthesia and tiny incisions.
